Tangled !

Last night I went to the cinema with 3 of my best friends and we ended up watching the new Disney animation Tangled. It is the story of the well known  fairytale Rapunzel. The story is about a magic flower with healing powers which a wicked witch wants to keep to herself to keep her looking young. However one day the queen is sick and the flower is found to heal her. The powers of the flower are then passed on to her daughter Rapunzel who is kidnapped by the wicked witch. She keeps Rapunzel locked up in a tower where noone but the wicked witch can use her magic hair. Until one day a wanted thief turns up in Rapunzels tower and she makes a deal with him for him to show her the floating lights in exchange for her crown.

This film is so good. It has everthing I love about disney films, a Princess,  a villian , a love story and a happy ending. Although it is aimed at children all ages will enjoy it, there was actually more teenagers and adults in the showing we went to than children. It's a light hearted enjoyable film which I'm sure I will watch again and again. Disney never fails to amaze me in delivering such enjoyable films. I would definetley recommend anyone to watch this especially if you love all the Disney classics.

Hair products I'm loving !!

So I'm currently on a mission to get my hair healthier and find some good products that work for me. My hair has been very dry and  not in a very good condition recently from all the cold weather, then the heating and previous damage from colouring it. So I started my getting a good cut and rid of all the horrible dead ends. Whilst I was there I mentioned to my hairdresser that I'd been getting a dry scalp just on the hairline near my forehead after I had washed my hair and she asked what shampoo and conditioner I was currently using. I told her I was using the Pantene Aqua light and she pulled her face. I asked her why and she said she really dislikes the brand along with Tresemme and Garnier Fructis as they all coat your hair with horrible products. I has personally never seen anything wrong with Pantene but I asked her to recommend any which would be good for my hair. She suggested the Tigi Bead head Brunette Goddess shampoo and conditioner. I purchased these and OMG they are amazing. I seriously love them. I have been using them for just over a week now and you can already see a big change to my hair. It's made it so much softer and silky and it has seriously reduced my dry scalp. They also smell lovely; kind of a sweet smell like caramel, although I've seen them advertised as smelling like almonds. I would definitely recommend these for brunettes and they also do a range for blonde's called 'dumb blonde'. Now i can see how much better they are for your hair than the likes of Pantene.
My hairdresser also recommended Aussie shampoo if you didn't want to spend as much. I have previously trued the Aussie Luscious Long shampoo and conditioner and I really liked them. The only thing I would say is that you really need to make sure the conditioner is washed out properly as it takes a while and they can leave your hair feeling greasy if you don't do so.

Another product I have been loving the last few weeks is the Schwarzkopf Got2b Guardian Angel blow dry and flat iron heat protecting spray. I had seen TiffanyD recommend the curl protection spray from this range in a curling tutorial on her YouTube channel and have been looking for it here in the UK but have yet to find it. However I did find the blow dry and flat iron one and decided to give it a go as I have been looking for a good heat protecting spray anyway. The best thing about this product is the smell its soooo good. Reminds me of holidays, it's got a nice tropical type smell. It's also not a heavy product which I love and one spray of it seriously goes a long way. You spray it to towel dry hair before blow drying it and then I usually spray a bit just before I straighten it as well. It was around £4 I think from Boots. I'm hoping they bring out the others from this range over here as I found the curling one on amazon but it was around £ 13 which is a huge difference. If anyone has seen it in the UK or cheaper online anywhere please let me know.
Another product I have just tried is Umberto Giannini Spa Rituals Overnight Magic Hair Repair. This was recommend by Gemma on her YouTube channel gemsmaquillage , check it out shes lovely and does some great videos.Anyway this product is a deep conditioner but it's not like the usual leave in conditioners which you have to wash out. I personally hate having to wait 5 minutes or however long to wash it out because it's so hard in my shower to try and not get my hair wet. With this you put a small 'blob', about a pea sized depending on length and thickness of your hair, and rub it in before you go to sleep. And the best part is you wake up with lovely smooth and soft hair in the morning without having to wash it out. I usually use this on a day I don't wash my hair so that I'm not putting too much product into it in one day.

Let me know if any of you try these products and what you think of them and also any great hair products you have found.

Soap and Glory products !!

Most of you will be familiar with the 'Soap and Glory' range from boots. I have been a huge fan of the range for about 2 years now and have loved near enough all the products I have tried. Recently I have been using them alot as I got bought two sets for Christmas and so I thought it would be a good  time to share with you some of my favourites.

The first set I received was a smaller bag containing the following shown in the picture below:
The second set was a HUGE bag full of big sized products I think it was like the best selling ones or something :

My first favourite product is the 'Hand Food' hand cream. I loooove this hand cream it has to be one of my all time favourite hand creams. It smells amazing and really moisturises the hands without leaving a horrible greasy feeling some hand creams leave. You also don't have to spend forever rubbing it in like I've found with others, which makes it great for when you are in a hurry. Also what I love about this product is that you can get it in a small version which is perfect for carrying in your bag with you. I always have the small one in my bag with me and a larger one at home. It's been a 'go-to' product for me recently especially with all the cold weather drying my hands out.

My second favourite product is the 'Off Your Face' cleansing face wipes. I have always used Johnson&Johnson face wipes for years and have loved them but I ran out of them and had these Soap and Glory ones in my sets I was bought so thought I would give them a try. I have got to say they have become a series rival for my usual face wipes. I love them. You really can feel them cleansing and cleaning your skin as well as removing your make up. I would definitely purchase these again.
My next product is the 'Clean on Me' shower gel. I really like this. I have been using it for a while now and it has lasted ages. I purchased this seperatley a while before christmas and was very pleased I recieved it in my gift sets so I have more when this runs out. It's a lovely creamy product which again smells amazing. Most of the Soap and Glory products have a distinct smell about them and if you have ever used them you will know what I mean.

Next is the 'Heel Genius' foot cream. I for one hate my feet I don't think anyone has nice feet I just think they are a really horrible part of the body. Anyway so I like to make me feel look and feel as nice as possible and this product has done just that. I'm sure many of you like myself get dry cracked heels and dry skin around the balls of your feet. By rubbing this cream onto my feet at night and then putting on cotton socks to let the cream absorb into my skin whilst I sleep have made my feet so much softer. It has a kind of minty smell about it I'd say and I will be using this to get my feet prepared to be bared in nice summer sandals when we eventually get some sun.

My final product is the 'Girligo' spray on body moisturising mist. I wasn't so sure about this product at first but I am starting to love it. It's basically a moisturing spray with the usual lovely Soap and Glory scent. Its a very light weight, non-greasy moisturiser which is easy to rub in. It is perfect for sparying all over when you get out of the shower or before getting ready as it's quick and mess free. It leaves a lovely clean scent on you throughout the day.

I would recommend you to try all of these products if you haven't already. They are easy to find at most Boots stores and online and are reasonably priced. If you have tried any other Soap and Glory products you have loved or any other similar products I would love to hear your recommendations.

New Blog !!

Hey everyone and welcome to my blog!
Recently I've become addicted to watching beauty vlogs on youtube and reading alot of beauty blogs. I love getting ideas of makeup looks from others, reading reviews on products I'm not sure whether to try or not, being introduced to new products many of which have become my must haves and generally sharing my love of all things beauty and fashion with others. So this inspired me to create my own blog to share things I love and new things I have found with others. It won't just all be about beauty and fashion, it will include other random things I feel the urge to write about and what I've been up to.
Hope you all enjoy reading and hope you comment to tell me what you think and share your loves with me :) !!
